About the role
As Sr. Director of Product & Development for SMB, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with our company goals and customer needs. You will oversee a cross-functional team responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your leadership will be vital in driving innovation and market competitiveness, ensuring that our offerings maintain excellence and relevance in an evolving landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the product development team for SMB, driving the vision and strategy for product innovation and enhancement.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, coordinating efforts across various departments including sales, marketing, and customer support
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to gather requirements, prioritize features, and align development initiatives with market trends
• Ensure effective application of agile methodologies to optimize productivity and responsiveness to market changes
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team and across departments, promoting best practices in software development
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitor products to continuously refine our offerings and identify new opportunities.
• Drive automation and process improvements in product development to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

In order to fit and succeed in this role, we believe that you have the following background:

• At least 10 years of experience in product management and development, preferably in a B2B software environment.
• Proven track record of leading and managing successful development teams and launching high-quality products.
• Strong understanding of software development processes, with experience in agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Swedish.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics and experience in software solutions related to financial processes is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

This is a full-time position (40h/week) with working hours 8-17. You will be based at the head office at Evenemangsgatan by Mall of Scandinavia in Solna, Sweden and report into the CTO. Start date is as soon as possible.
