About the Role
As our People & Culture Manager for North America, you’ll be a key driver of our global People & Culture (P&C) agenda, shaping a high-performing, inclusive, and value-driven workplace that empowers our people and fuels business growth. This is a newly established role for us in North America, offering you the chance to develop new ways of working and influence the direction of the role significantly.
In this strategic and hands-on role, you’ll partner with senior leaders to develop and deliver effective HR strategies across the region, ensuring we attract, retain, and engage top talent while maintaining compliance and fostering a safe, healthy, and inclusive culture.
The People team currently consists of the CHRO, People & Culture Director, HR and Talent Partner, Office Experience Manager & HR Support. Today, our organization is distributed across Sweden and the Netherlands. You will report to the CHRO and be a part of the North America Management team.
What You’ll Do
As the People & Culture Manager, you will:
- Advise and partner with managers and leadership teams to help achieve business goals through effective people strategies and informed decision-making.
- Shape and lead strategic initiatives across talent management, organizational development, employee and leadership development, and employee engagement.
- Implement and drive core HR processes such as performance management, capability development, and retention programs that support sustainable growth.
- Ensure legal and policy compliance, maintaining best practices in all aspects of the employee lifecycle across North America.
- Oversee Compensation & Benefits, aligning with the company philosophy and ensuring internal equity, market competitiveness, and compliance with local laws.
- Monitor and analyze People KPIs to inform continuous improvement and strategic decisions.
- Lead efforts for a healthy, safe, and inclusive workplace, driving initiatives that strengthen culture, communication, and employee well-being.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for North American Systems, managing and coordinating all payroll-related processes.
- Contribute to global HR initiatives such as integration, system implementations, and organizational changes.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of North American labor laws and HR compliance requirements (Canadian labor law is a plus)
- 4–6 years in a senior HR role (such as People Business Partner or HR Manager), with a proven track record of developing, leading, and executing HR strategies that drive organizational success
- Demonstrated experience managing and improving all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to development, engagement, and offboarding
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to influence, advise, and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
- Basic proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with general technical system knowledge

Additional Information:

- Location: Remote within North America; East Coast preferred to align with European time zones
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
- Salary: USD 125,000 – 150,000 per year, depending on experience
