Team Lead Sales & Account Support

You will be part of a team of six people who all report to the Sales Operations Manager in Sweden. Together you will support SignUp´s international sales teams in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. In this role, you’ll act as a key support function not only to the sales team but also directly to existing customers, focusing on contract matters and sales activities. You will collaborate closely with several internal departments as well as customers and partners, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
As the first Sales and Account Support Specialist based in North America, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our North American sales team while also laying the foundation for future growth. As our operations expand, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a team of more people and become a key figure in ensuring smooth communication and collaboration with the North American sales team.
In addition to supporting sales and customers with contracts and sales activities, you’ll act as a go-to resource for guidance on processes, documentation, and coordination between teams. As we add more solutions to our product offerings, your role will expand to ensure seamless communication with the North American sales team. You’ll be a trusted leader and a vital resource, providing support and guidance on documentation, processes, and team collaboration.
Responsibilities
A typical day can consist of answering incoming inquiries, booking and holding your own meetings with customers, preparing quotes, ensuring correct information in the CRM system and reviewing contracts. You will also participate in sales meetings and negotiations. This is a very important part of the sales organization, and you will get the opportunity for long-term development within the company.
Your main tasks will include:
- Customer & Sales Support: Assist the sales team and customers with inquiries related to contracts and sales activities.
- Liaise with Head of Legal: Collaborate with the Head of Legal on more complex negotiations
- Upselling & Add-Ons: Manage upsell opportunities and offer add-ons to existing customers, working closely with the Customer Success Manager.
- Internal Coordination: Liaise with various internal departments to address and resolve issues efficiently.
- Document Management: Handle tasks involving MS Excel and MS Word, requiring solid knowledge of the Office suite
To succeed in this role:
- Confidence in understanding and interpreting legal texts within contracts.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, including willingness to make calls to resolve customer issues or coordinate internally.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably MS Dynamics CRM.
- Process-Oriented Mindset: A passion for creating, refining, and adhering to processes. You should be comfortable drafting clear documentation and guidelines when needed.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to the global team’s success.
Qualifications
• Professional Experience: 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales or sales support.
• Relevant Background: Experience in legal, procurement, or related fields.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Sales Process Knowledge: A solid understanding of how the sales process works.
• Licensing Experience: Familiarity with license sales is a strong advantage.
• CRM Expertise: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus.
